I have a problem with my PC which has been ongoing for 3-4 years at this point. The PC is getting a bit old, but for the most part, it is still kicking ***, except for
one aspect. I have a severe and extremely frustrating internet problem. I have trialed several tech forums with this issue, and have yet to figure where the problem
lies, so it is time to try once more.
I am going to best describe the issue itself, because it is quite odd, and then I will make a list of all the things I have tried to fix it, which also confirms this
is a hardware issue with my computer.
The TLR description of my internet issue, is that it will randomly disconnect. The reason why I emphasise "randomly" is because there is no logic to the disconnects.
The length of the actual disconnect varies, but usually only lasts 2-10+ seconds, before it starts reconnecting. When it happens, the internet icon goes red,
indicating no cable is connected, then it goes yellow as it reestablishes the connection, and then its back to normal.
I am using a stationary PC, no wireless.
As for specs, this is what I've got.
