Well, the people have spoken https://www.carolinapanthersfanshop.com/Devin-Funchess-Jersey , and as it should probably be expected with the fresh start of a brand new season upon us, Panthers fans are very confident in the direction the team is headed. An astonishing 93 percent of Panthers fans said they are confident in the team’s direction. That’s up from 75 percent the last time our fans were surveyed following the 2019 NFL Draft! Fan confidence has steadily climbed since the end of the 2018 season when it was at a paltry 24 percent. The Panthers had a solid free agency period when they added several quality veterans to the roster (notably center Matt Paradis, defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and edge rusher Bruce Irvin) and re-signed a few of their own free agents (safety Eric Reid, right tackle Daryl Williams, safety Colin Jones and defensive tackle Kyle Love).Panthers Fan Pulse confidence results(percentage of fans who voted ‘confident’)End of 2018 season — 24%Start of free agency — 65%Pre-2019 draft — 62%Post-2019 draft — 75%Preseason Week 1 — 93%The 2019 NFL Draft was also kind to the Panthers, as fan confidence jumped from 62 percent before the draft to 75 percent after it. The Panthers ended up taking seven players in the draft https://www.carolinapanthersfanshop.com/Mario-Addison-Jersey , and were able to rebuild their pass rush with several of those picks by selecting edge rushers Brian Burns and Christian Miller. They also added some solid depth on their offensive line by taking Greg Little and Dennis Daley, and took care of the backup quarterback position by getting Will Grier in the third round. They also managed to pick up some potential depth at running back when they found Jordan Scarlett in the fifth round. Now that training camp is over and the season is just a few short weeks away, Panthers fans have plenty of reasons to be excited about the upcoming season. Franchise quarterback Cam Newton is recovering well from offseason shoulder surgery (the main reason fan confidence was only 24 percent at the end of the season last year), and Curtis Samuel appears to have taken the leap to No. 1 wide receiver status in his third year (if training camp reports are to be believed). But wait, there’s more! The defense looks to be adapting well to the switch to a 3-4 alignment, and several players are stepping up and handing their new roles quite well. Marquis Haynes looks like he he was built to play as an outside linebacker in the 3-4 defense and is off to a solid start this year Marquis Haynes Jersey , and Burns looks like the guy that everyone will wish they drafted before he fell to Carolina at No. 16 overall. Win or lose, the Panthers should be fun to watch this year, but if you ask me I think there will be more winning than losing in 2019, and fans have every reason to be confident that this season could be a special one for Carolina. But what about you, Panthers fans? Are you confident that this season will be a good one for the Panthers? Share your thoughts with us, and while you’re at it feel free to sign up for FanPulse and let your voice be heard! The Panthers and Saints face off today at 1 p.m. for the regular season finale. The Panthers are 6-9 and are eliminated from the playoffs https://www.carolinapanthersfanshop.com/Torrey-Smith-Jersey , so they’re playing for pride today. They’re also trying to avoid becoming the first team ever to finish 6-10 after a 6-2 start. The Saints are 13-2 and have the NFC’s No. 1 seed locked up, so they’re trying to avoid losing any key players to injury.
